This past weekend a couple of our newlywed friends, Kirk and Danielle, took Scott and I to an apple and pumpkin orchard south of Milwaukee. It was the Elegant Farmer in Mukwanago, WI. I loved picking the courtland apples. They're one of my very favorites! Although I think my favorite part was getting to climb around in the trees....I haven't done that in years!
There were wooden crates all over the place where people could put the leftovers from their "samples" or just bruised apples that they didn't want.
Then we got a couple of pumpkins from the pumpkin patch and I found a grasshopper that loved being in the spotlight! I was able to get at least a dozen photos of him! It was a ton of fun! Thanks to Kirk and Danielle for taking us there!!! :)
